Design
For the Make It Circular challenge of What Design Can Do we made second hand IKEA products into circles.
Tapping into the continuous stream of online second-hand furniture sales, we transformed two rectangular IKEA products, the Lerhamn table and the Halved rug, into circular versions.
By using the whole rectangular surface of the product and (length x width) = π x radius² we created them with a minimal loss of material.
